The new issue of the scientific journal Eurasian Science & Arts (Vol. III, No. 18, 2025) brings together three fundamental studies devoted to key phenomena of world and national artistic culture.
The issue opens with the article by Tatyana Kartashova and Viktor Kartashov, “The Phenomenon of Indian Ragamala,” which examines Ragamala as a synthetic phenomenon situated at the intersection of musical and visual arts. The authors offer a comprehensive analysis of the concept, revealing its philosophical and aesthetic foundations, symbolic nature, and significance within the context of Indian artistic tradition.
The issue continues with an analytical study by Rogneda Lukyanova, “Ludwig van Beethoven. Große Fuge for String Quartet in B-flat Major, Op. 133,” dedicated to one of the most radical and conceptually complex works in the history of chamber music. The article interprets the fugue as the culmination of Beethoven’s compositional thinking, concentrating the structural, philosophical, and expressive principles of his late style.
The issue concludes with the study by Zhazira Aksakalova, “Historical Memory Embodied in the Art of Graphics (Works by N. S. Gaev from the Collection of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan).” The author analyzes graphic art as a form of visual representation of historical memory, emphasizing the role of museum collections in preserving and interpreting cultural experience.
The issue is addressed to specialists in art history, musicology, and cultural studies, as well as to researchers exploring problems of artistic interpretation, historical memory, and interdisciplinary connections in the arts.
